I have just got the Florence Rawlings album to review and it’s interesting stuff. She seems to be the new outlet for Mike Batt – the guy behind most of Katie Melua’s songs. This is a lot more feisty but a bit too much ‘Jools Holland’ at times. Hard To Get is definitely one of the best tracks.

Florence Rawlings – Hard To Get (Official HD)

Is this what it has come to is it? Has society plummed the depths of all emotional expression, so much so that now we have pop songs about picture quality?

Still, at least with the sales of the record she’ll probably be able to afford a nice new tele, but then what will she write about? Hard To Get (A Decent Car)?
