Scissor Sisters seemed to be on the wane – just slightly. There we’re lots of free tickets being given away in competitions for their last UK tour- meaning they had some to spare and needed some PR. They were never doing badly, and still had their cult following, but there was a slight feeling they hadn’t quite lived up to their own standards.

However their new video, Any Which Way, shows them moving back from good to great.  The visuals are by far the most visually exciting of the year, the tune is catchy as fuck and the lyrics have things like “I want a man who smells like Coco Butter and Cash”. I defy you not to like.
