New In Town singer Little Boots is set to define the British summer with her stylish brand of sparkly 80s tinged disco-pop. There was fear the hype would smother her but Hands is excellent, brimming with ideas and invention, particularly on standout track Remedy.
The slower tracks are weaker, but there is enough in the catchy melodies of early singles Meddle and Mathematics to suggest that Little Boots is at the front of the queue of new singer-songwriters looking to stake their claim as Britain’s answer to Kylie.

Great album…not sure about the Kylie comparison. Overused and can’t see (or hear) it…

It’s not so much her sound, just that she’s a female singer that wears shiny dresses and has a strong personality.
