Cheryl, predictably, was the first to have a go on her own, then Sarah did something (didn’t she?) – but now it could be Nicola’s turn.

According to reports in The Mirror, she has been snapped up by Sony and will be recording an album of “kooky” music. Their source reported “(s)he’s an original girl – and the label want to utilise that fact with her music.”

What gives it credence is that the Girls Aloud Website reports there is some exclusive Nicola news coming soon, which doesn’t seem to be just that she has relaunched her make up range.

It’s a good time to reflect on how far they have come…this video of Pop Stars The Rivals final is too good; though imagine a world where Javine actually got into the band.
