Scottish rock group Biffy Clyro have promised fans that they will release a new album in 2011.
The band’s last album ‘Only Revolutions’ was released in 2009, and the trio have said that new material will be completed once they finish touring at Christmas.
Bass player James Johnson enthused: “We are eager, we are excited but we understand you only get one chance to make a record and we don’t want to mess it up, we won’t rush it then forever regret it.”
‘Only Revolutions’ is shortlisted for this year’s Mercury Music Prize and Biffy released 18-track B-side compilation ‘Lonely Revolutions’ this week.
