Kanye West has a gift for collaborations – and his new album features a decent one with Beyonce ( as well as Bon Iver strangely).
It’s a bit smoother than what he normally offers – but still contains his obligatory references to him being black (this time he calls himself Socrates but with more “chocolatey” skin and makes reference to black excellence). Now of course there’s nothing wrong with this, but sometimes it does border on overkill.
It also features Charlie Wilson (that guy who was on the Snoop Dogg/Justin collaboration Signs a few years ago) – but once again he takes even more of a back seat, basically just shouting out the name of the song at different points. And this hints at the main problem with the track. It’s fairly pleasing but repeating the chorus too much makes it seem a bit monotonous and ultimately forgettable.
OK, but could do better, especially with Beyonce in tow. Anyway, here it is:

WHY MUST KENYE & BEYONCE CALL THEMSELVES A “NIGGER”? THIS SONG IS PURE TRASH!!! OH I FORGOT BEYONCE+KENYE=GARBAGE. THATS WHY I DID NOT BUY INTO BEYONCE TRYING TO BE THE NICE GIRL AND LET TAYLOR SWIFT SAY SUMFIN CAUSE SHE WAS ALL APART OF THAT MESS WITH KENYE, BUT AFTER THE CROWD BOOED IT, THEN BEYONCE JUMPED ON ANOTHER BAND WAGON CAUSE SHE WAS SCARED FOR HER DECLINING CAREER.
