There's always a danger that bands who take to Newcastle's Metro Radio Arena stage may find themselves dwarfed by the cavernous hall, reminiscent of a WW2 bomb shelter despite being less than 15 years old. Arctic Monkeys have spent their brief career slowly building up to this moment - a full arena size tour - and it's pretty safe to say that their appearance here is long overdue.
It will be released on November 16, and again the band will collaborate with Oxfam for the method of release.

It's probably not that much of a surprise, but Arctic Monkeys' recent release Humbugis top of the charts. But these aren't just any charts...
Humbug may not be an obvious choice when the end of year top ten lists come up, but it does confirm Arctic Monkeys as by far the leading British band of their time.
Arctic Monkeys will only release physical copies of their comeback single Crying Lightning on 7" and 10" discs, ditching CDs completely.
