Wow. Alexandra Burke has premiered her new video “Start Without You” and it’s not quite what you would expect.

It starts with a MC Laza Morgan shouting some sort pseudo reggae crap (quite reminiscent of the intro to Peter Andre’s “Mysterious Girl”), then enters into a plodding, kiddie like ditty melody – Alexandra’s more soulful tones then sing over the top. All in all this makes it very, very strange. In fact its so incongruous we can’t figure out whether we like it or not. NO doubt we will hear it a 100 times before it’s released on September the 5th so maybe something will click by then.

The video is similarly bizarre. It’s mainly Alexandra Burke giving gym lessons to a bunch of arrogant, oiled up beefcakes.


Rumour has it too she has been filming a US version of this video too.  Her album has been out here for ages but she hasn’t made a move on the states. Mr Cowell says this is as she wants to get it right…with Leona Lewis’ support tour getting scrapped in the US recently, they might be trying to plan it better (and not have her supporting Xtina).
